Day 12: Whatever tickles my fancy
Ladies and gentlemen, this tickles my fancy:
The MSN-00100 or more widely known as the Hyaku Shiki from the series Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam and piloted by Quattro Bajeena.
It's a funny story, how I came to love this mobile suit. I'm not a big fan of Zeta Gundam, I've seen a most of the show and I still want to off a good portion of the cast. I hate gold. I'm a redhead with a peachy complexion, me and gold do not get along. And to be frank, this suit is disgustingly ostentatious -- even as mobile suits go -- which is something I've also never been a fan of. But then one day I came to own Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 and was playing through Char Aznable's storyline and I had to pilot the Hyaku Shiki.
I fell in love.
Its fighting style is an art form both in DW:Gundam and the ultimate mecha crossover Another Century's Episode. Despite seeming inferior to the mobile suits in its universe, it packs quite a punch and with one of the ultimate aces in the entire Gundam franchise, it is a shinigami more than the gold fairy it can resemble when it is zipping across the field of battle.
And besides, who doesn't like a bazooka, twin beam sabers and Char Aznable's relatively more sane persona? I sure do.
