Good morning new year!

Today is the first day of the New Year and the New Year is today. This year will be better than last year. It has to be. The reason why is because it is temporally impossible for the things that messed up 2010 to happen in 2011. My cousin won't be getting married, my great-grandmother won't die (especially since I don't have any more to die),  I won't be rejected for graduate school again. Right now, the upcoming year is looking pretty good. I go back to work on Monday and school starts back up on the 18th. Kit and I have plans to travel this year. I'm going to fix our old car so I can use it to drive myself to volunteer work on the weekends. I will be getting A's in my classes so my GPA won't look like I don't try. Writing is still on the list of things to do but so is existing, so it almost seems superfluous to mention it. I'll be working out more as well as snagging a climbing membership at the campus rec center (I'll actually have evenings free to do this). Kit and I are saving up money to get married. This year is looking good, I must say.

Now, it's exactly noon so I'm going to go clean myself up and do chores while Kit is checking out a new airsoft field and Bryan is still sleeping in.
