The idea of pumping cash into our financial organizations (banks, investment houses, insurance companies, stock markets, derivatives, and other legitimized frauds and gambling systems) pissed me off from day one. I was considering the name "TARP" recently. There are a few quirk about tarps:
- You can never get them to cover anything quite right - they always leak
- They almost always have holes in them
- The cat/dog/guinea pigs have often pissed on them
- When you take them out of your basement/garage/other storage place, you also discover creatures which have made a home there, such as roaches, other bugs, mice, worms, and other unpleasant things that you really didn't want.
- They are dirty, so whatever you try to cover with them gets dirtier in the long run.
I am sure this is very clever and wise. Someone let me know what I said so I can quote myself.
