Today at the range I had an opportunity to shoot a Springfield Krag Model 1898 Rifle. That's right 1898, a one hundred and eleven year old gun. "Captain Don", a regular at the range collects and restores curio and relic firearms. He insisted on taking a picture with my Iphone, which took longer to explain, than him giving me a history lesson on the "Krag".
