This is my first time writing key-amber fic, and for the antagonist I choose hara bcos idk who else I should choose. in fact love hara a lot, I don’t hate her a bit. I don’t want to put Nicole bcos I don’t like her or any ’91 liners, they seem don’t fit with key in my eyes.
So I have come from a loooong hiatus :p do enjoy this story, I don’t know who’s interested in this pairing but I’ve tried hard to write this. I appreciate comments and critics ：Ｄ
"Amberrr!!!!" Kibum shouted and waved his hand at the blond girl after f(x) finished their performance and entered the backstage. He was waiting for f(x) on the backstage for no reason, he just wanted to. Because what Kibum wants he will do it.
"Yo! What's up?" Amber walked closer to Key and they were high-fiveing.
Kim Kibum and Amber Liu ware best friends. We knew that Kibum had tons of best friends, but she was one of them that he could pour his heart out without any worry. He trusted her for his life and so did she. Kibum and Amber were always be with each other every time they were in the company or hanging out. There's someone said, 'Wherever Key is, Amber must be there'. Everyone in SM knew about their friendship. They were just met since she joined SM, but their friendship grew really fast and this is it..
"You're so cool! I saw some fans were screaming when you did your part!" Kibum complimented her and he was smiling to the rest of f(x) members and told them that they did a good job, being a good sunbae he was.
"I know I am, hahaha. Good luck on yours too! You're coming out after this, right?" Amber playfully replied him as she took a bottle of water that Victoria offered.
"Yeah.. I don't have to do anything to make them scream. I am hot myself" He said lightly and she wrinkled her nose as she drank the water, "Hey, after this ends I want to tell you something.. Wait for me, 'kay?" He added.
"About?"
"Something important"
"Okay" She answered and right after that they could hear that SHINee's manager was looking for Key because he was supposed to stand by in the other door. He just waved her and the rest of f(x) member’s goodbye and rushed to the backstage.

Amber was waiting for Kibum in the cafe on the building with Victoria who was waiting for Nichkhun to take her to dinner.
"Where are you going to eat?" Amber asked Victoria who was checking her phone for the uptnth time.
"That place on the top of that building" Victoria replied as she pointed to the building across the place where they were sitting.
"You're gonna eat something delicious today and you let your daughters eat instant noodles. You're a heartless umma.." She pouted and spoke in an exaggerated whining tone.
"I'm sorry~ I can't refuse Nichkhun's offer" Victoria smiled sheepishly and Amber just wrinkled her nose.
"Victoria-sshi?" A deep, gentle voice heard from their left.
Both of the girls looked at the sound's direction and Nichkhun Horvejkul was standing there, shining brightly.
"I'm so sorry. Chansung was whining because our manager forgot to buy him food, so I had to ensure Junsu to buy him first. You know Junsu is a bit annoying if I say I am in a hurry. Sorry.." Nichkhun tried hard to explain the situation but Victoria just smiled and said "It's okay"
"It's alright, appa. Umma will wait for you no matter how long you take" Amber replied jokingly which earned her a smack on her thigh from Victoria.
Nichkhun laughed, "You're not coming with us?"
"Nope. I'm waiting for Key-oppa"
"Hoo.. So, see you later my daughter!" He waved to Amber and he took Victoria's hand on his.
"Nee.. Bye Vic umma, Nichkhun appa" She waved and Victoria waved her back.
She waited for another 5 minutes before Kibum finally showed up.
"You're late" She said lazily. He ignored her and sat beside her with a mischievous smile on his lips.
"I'm still handsome even if I late" He replied with his cutest tone he could muster.
"What is the connection with handsome and being late?"
"Nothing" He laughed and Amber rolled her eyes.
"Look" Kibum's tone suddenly changed after he finished his laugh, "I want to say this but promise me don't laugh!" He said in a serious tone, "But I'm sure you will.." He added afterwards.
"Then just say. What's so important that you have to speak like this?" Amber was curious, this is the first time Kibum said something like that, usually if Key wanted to tell her something, he would just say it.
He made an 'hmm' sound for a moment before he finally said,
"It's about love" Kibum said slowly and Amber caught a blush was creeping on his cheeks, "I'm in love"
"Ppfff... puahahahahha" Amber laughed so hard at Kibum's reply. She couldn't hold her laugh even if she tried to, that was just so.. Shocking and funny at the same time.
He sighed, "What did I say"
"Wait wait.. The Almighty Kim Kibum is in love?" She said in between her laugh, she was clutching her stomach.
"Uuugh this is serious" He pouted
"Okay okay.." She tried to hold her laugh for a moment, "Mffff.. hahahahaha" she still couldn't contain her laugh so he had to wait for her for good 5 minutes.
"So who's the girl?" Amber asked as she wiped the tears in the corner of her eyes, "Oh God, laughing is tiring" She said under her breath.
"Umm... Goo Hara" Kibum said shyly.
Amber's eyes widen, "Woww.. I don't know you know her. I thought you are close with Nicole"
"Nicole won't make a great girlfriend. I knew all of her flaws already"
"Poor her. I guess Jinwoon will ask her out immediately if he heard you said that"
"Yeah. I'm sure he will.."
"And? What else you want to tell me?"
He told her what he wanted to tell her. Like Hara this or Hara that. The point of his speech was that Hara is pretty and he loved her.

Because of what Amber had suggested him, he asked Hara to hang out (for the first time) and asked Nicole to come too. According to Amber it would be weird if he asked Hara alone directly so he had to asked Nicole too because Nicole is famous for being his best friend.
Their first 'date' went not like he was expecting, Nicole talked too much and acted all close to him (in fact she is close, but what do you feel when you walked with your crush? Horrible) while Hara was just giggling beside her or pretended to be busy with her phone when Nicole talked nonsense (he could tell she's talking nonsense, yes)
When Kibum got home, the first thing he did was entering his room, threw his bag to his bed and called Amber.
"Uuugh I wanna smack her face right now!" He said in frustration.
"Who? Hara?"
"Of course not! Why would I smack a beautiful lady like her? Nicole! I am talking about Nicole!"
"What happen with her?"
"She is annoying! a.n.n.o.y.i.n.g! uuugh. Why did I befriend her at the first place??"
"Don't say things like that. Hey, I asked what happened today?"
"Nicole was acting too touchy with me. I know she is touchy with every man, but please, I was walking with my crush too! How annoying you think it could be?"
Key could hear Amber was laughing on th other line. "Don't ask her again then. Just go out with Hara"
"I'm too shy.." He whined
"Wimp. You're a guy!"
"But still.. I'm shy"
"Ah whatever"
"Yeah yeah yeah. But I think Hara was pretty comfortable with me"
"That's a good progress then"
And they talked until Onew told him that it was late and they really need to sleep since they had a morning schedule the next day.

A month passed, Kibum and Hara grew closer and closer and Hara was showing signs that she liked him back. They had gone for 'dates' with just two of them several times. Hara said that she didn't want to bring Nicole if Kibum asked her to go out with him because Nicole doesn't have sense when it came to boys and she would just ruin the mood. Kibum thanked Shisus for what Hara told him.
It was Saturday, some famous artists were at the same building because they are performing on a big concert. SHINee, f(x) and Kara were there too.
Amber was wandering around on the first floor alone, the event would start 3 more hours and she was bored, so she decided to go over to SHINee's dressing room to look for Kibum.
The door was opened on their dressing room but Amber didn't see Kibum,
"Jonghyun oppa, where's Key?" Amber asked Jonghyun who was sitting nicely while reading a magazine on the couch.
Jonghyun looked up from his magazine, "Don't know.. Where's Krystal?" He asked back.
"I'm here" Krystal suddenly showed up behind Amber and casually walked to Jonghyun and sat beside him.
It's like a public secret that Jonghyun liked Krystal and Krystal liked Jonghyun back, but maybe it's just two of them that didn't know about that secret.
"Do you see Key, Krys?" Amber asked again.
"Ah, Kara's dressing room. I met him just now" She answered.
"Oh okay. Thanks.."
Amber turned her back to go to Kara's dressing room, but her steps felt heavy, somehow hearing what Krystal had just said made her heart ached.
"What's wrong with me?" She asked herself, but she decided not to go there and just walked back to her dressing room. She met Luna there and they were gossiping about why Victoria and Nichkhun didn't want to confess to each other while it's really clear that they liked, no, LOVED each other so so much and they should skip the dating process because they could just get married immediately, they were gossiping until they should perform.

On a nice morning inside the SHINee's dorm, Kibum opened Jonghyun's and Minho's shared bedroom and found Jonghyun (He thanked Shisus, again, that Minho wasn't there) was reading a fashion magazine which made Kibum scoffed, "Since when you read this kind of things?" and snatched his magazine away before Jonghyun could say anything and throw that to the other bed ungracefully. But after a few seconds he realized that it was his own magazine and he quickly took that magazine again and straightened it with his palm with a pouting face.
"You're so weird Kibum" Jonghyun laughed and took the magazine from Kibum's hand and flipped it open again as Kibum sent him a deadly glare.
"What?" Jonghyun asked after he felt Kibum was looking at him without saying anything. He knew that Kibum was looking at him by heart, they are best friends for nothing.
"I want to ask something"
"About?"
"...Girls" Kibum said hesitantly
Jonghyun immediately closed his magazine and looked at Kibum's face with an amused expression.
"Go on" He sat straight.
"How do you flirt with Krystal?" Kibum asked, he didn't dare to look at Jonghyun's eyes.
"Yeah, normal flirting"
"I know. How?" He demanded
"Who's the girl?" Jonghyun shot back
"Just answer me, dino"
A grin appeared on Jonghyun's face, "I won't unless you tell me who's the girl"
Kibum pouted, "You will laugh at me"
"I don't care. Tell me"
"I hate you" Kibum growled and tried to stand up but when he turned his back he heard Jonghyun happily singsong
"You can't ask about girls to anyone beside me here~ Minho and Onew hyung are hopeless and Taemin doesn't have any experience. You can only depend on me~"
"Uugh! Okay okay. You nosy dino!" Kibum tuned back and sat in front of Jonghyun again.
"You asked me first! So who?"
Kibum chewed his lips before saying "Hara" softly and like he had expected, Jonghyun laughed.
"Hahahahaha, I thought it would be Amber or Nicole"
Kibum's face looked scandalized, "Amber is my best friend, but Nicole? I'm sure I have higher standards on girls, Jjong. Nicole isn't even close to my standard"
Jonghyun laughed again, "Okaaaay, what was your question again?"
"Flirting"
Jonghyun made a thinking pose and came out with a statement 5 seconds later, "Just be sexy like Kim Jonghyun and just sit with your sexiness and be sexy"
Kibum furrowed his eyebrows, "What kind of advice is that?"
"Love advice" Jonghyun replied simply and stuck his tongue out at Kibum then he laughed.
That night Kibum asked Minho to exchange room with him, Jonghyun and Key talked until nearly dawn.

One night, Kibum was taking Hara home after one of their 'date'. When they were arrived in front of Hara's door she turned her body to face him and held his hands,
"Oppa, thank you so much for today.. I'm so happy we could spend some times like this.." She said sweetly and he smiled. They were looking at each other's eyes when she suddenly tiptoed and pecked his cheek.
Hara knew Kibum was shocked but she just smiled and open the door to her dorm,
"Bye oppa.." and closed the door while he was still stood there, dazed from what had just happened.
On his way home, he kept grinning like an idiot, he couldn't wait to tell Amber about this.
When Kibum arrived at his room, he immediately called Amber.
After 'Hello' from Amber, Kibum nearly shouted but he restrained himself from it,
"Amber Liuuu!!! Wooohoooo!!!"
She tsk-ed once, "What?! Do you need to shout out that loud?!"
"She kissed me!!" Kibum said and he was sure his grin reached his ear.
"What?" Kibum didn't notice the sadness in Amber's tone.
"I just come back after taking her home and she kissed my cheek.. Hahahahha"
"Aaah, congrats.. Maybe you can ask her to be your girlfriend tomorrow.." She joked, but she didn't like how her heart reacted to her own joke.
She couldn't feel this way, right? As a best friend she should support Kibum. Why she felt like someone stabbed her back?
"I'm shyyy~" Kibum giggled
"Whatever.."
That night Kibum asked Minho to exchange room again. He didn't want Onew and Taemin looked him at his current condition. He thought since Jonghyun knew his secret, it's not a problem.
Kibum was sitting at Minho's bed, hugging a pillow and grinning from ear to ear when Jonghyun entered the room (he just finished showering and wrapped in a towel on his waist while drying his hair with a smaller towel. ps: imagine how sexy he is!! *nosebleed*)
"Key? Key?" Jonghyun was poking Kibum's shoulder but he showed no sign of being conscious. "Are you high or something?" he said as he put his palm on Kibum's forehead, pretending to check on his temperature.
"Nope~" He giggled
"Are you drunk?"
"I'm drunk because of lovee~" Then Kibum pinched Jonghyun's cheek.
"Oh god. I don't know you're this creepy when you fell in love"
"I'm not creepy~" He pouted
"So so so it must be Hara that made you like this?"
"Hihihihihi"
"What did you do?" Jonghyun asked curiously, not caring to put on clothes first and just sat in front of Kibum.
"Something~"
"What?" He whined
"Something~" Kibum repeated in a same tone.
"You don't want to tell me? Fine. I won't help you again from now on!" Jonghyun said cynically and he stood up to get dressed but Kibum pulled him back to the bed and held his upper arm and poking his chest.
"Uuuu.. Jjongie is mad.. Krystal doesn't like a guy who gets angry easily~"
"Does she?" Jonghyun asked seriously that made Kibum burst out in laughter.
"She likes everything about you, dino! Why you always act like you don't know about it? I'm sick looking at both of you, really" Kibum said as he patted Jonghyun's head. Jonghyun had a shocked expression, if Kibum didn't know Jonghyun for the longest time, he would believe that Jonghyun was acting.
"Krystal likes me? Really?" He asked, trying to make sure what Kibum just said.
"You really don't know?"
"No" Jonghyun blinked, Kibum blinked. They were staring at each other before Kibum said,
"God. Are both of you that stupid? Everyone knows, Jjong"
"Everyone?" Jonghyun's voice became louder, Kibum had to 'Ssh' him first.
"Yes. Everyone"
They talked about Krystal until Kibum realized Jonghyun hadn't put on clothes and just a towel on his waist that kept him from being naked, somehow he felt uncomfortable looking at a half-naked Jonghyun so he told him to get dressed first.
After Jonghyun put on clothes, they talked and promised to confess to the girl of their dream soon.

"I hate you" Kibum growled and tried to stand up but when he turned his back he heard Jonghyun happily singsong
"You can't ask about girls to anyone beside me here~ Minho and Onew hyung are hopeless and Taemin doesn't have any experience. You can only depend on me~"
"Uugh! Okay okay. You nosy dino!" Kibum tuned back and sat in front of Jonghyun again.
"You asked me first! So who?"
Kibum chewed his lips before saying "Hara" softly and like he had expected, Jonghyun laughed.
"Hahahahaha, I thought it would be Amber or Nicole"
Kibum's face looked scandalized, "Amber is my best friend, but Nicole? I'm sure I have higher standards on girls, Jjong. Nicole isn't even close to my standard"
Jonghyun laughed again, "Okaaaay, what was your question again?"
"Flirting"
Jonghyun made a thinking pose and came out with a statement 5 seconds later, "Just be sexy like Kim Jonghyun and just sit with your sexiness and be sexy"
Kibum furrowed his eyebrows, "What kind of advice is that?"
"Love advice" Jonghyun replied simply and stuck his tongue out at Kibum then he laughed.
That night Kibum asked Minho to exchange room with him, Jonghyun and Key talked until nearly dawn.

One night, Kibum was taking Hara home after one of their 'date'. When they were arrived in front of Hara's door she turned her body to face him and held his hands,
"Oppa, thank you so much for today.. I'm so happy we could spend some times like this.." She said sweetly and he smiled. They were looking at each other's eyes when she suddenly tiptoed and pecked his cheek.
Hara knew Kibum was shocked but she just smiled and open the door to her dorm,
"Bye oppa.." and closed the door while he was still stood there, dazed from what had just happened.
On his way home, he kept grinning like an idiot, he couldn't wait to tell Amber about this.
When Kibum arrived at his room, he immediately called Amber.
After 'Hello' from Amber, Kibum nearly shouted but he restrained himself from it,
"Amber Liuuu!!! Wooohoooo!!!"
She tsk-ed once, "What?! Do you need to shout out that loud?!"
"She kissed me!!" Kibum said and he was sure his grin reached his ear.
"What?" Kibum didn't notice the sadness in Amber's tone.
"I just come back after taking her home and she kissed my cheek.. Hahahahha"
"Aaah, congrats.. Maybe you can ask her to be your girlfriend tomorrow.." She joked, but she didn't like how her heart reacted to her own joke.
She couldn't feel this way, right? As a best friend she should support Kibum. Why she felt like someone stabbed her back?
"I'm shyyy~" Kibum giggled
"Whatever.."
That night Kibum asked Minho to exchange room again. He didn't want Onew and Taemin looked him at his current condition. He thought since Jonghyun knew his secret, it's not a problem.
Kibum was sitting at Minho's bed, hugging a pillow and grinning from ear to ear when Jonghyun entered the room (he just finished showering and wrapped in a towel on his waist while drying his hair with a smaller towel. ps: imagine how sexy he is!! *nosebleed*)
"Key? Key?" Jonghyun was poking Kibum's shoulder but he showed no sign of being conscious. "Are you high or something?" he said as he put his palm on Kibum's forehead, pretending to check on his temperature.
"Nope~" He giggled
"Are you drunk?"
"I'm drunk because of lovee~" Then Kibum pinched Jonghyun's cheek.
"Oh god. I don't know you're this creepy when you fell in love"
"I'm not creepy~" He pouted
"So so so it must be Hara that made you like this?"
"Hihihihihi"
"What did you do?" Jonghyun asked curiously, not caring to put on clothes first and just sat in front of Kibum.
"Something~"
"What?" He whined
"Something~" Kibum repeated in a same tone.
"You don't want to tell me? Fine. I won't help you again from now on!" Jonghyun said cynically and he stood up to get dressed but Kibum pulled him back to the bed and held his upper arm and poking his chest.
"Uuuu.. Jjongie is mad.. Krystal doesn't like a guy who gets angry easily~"
"Does she?" Jonghyun asked seriously that made Kibum burst out in laughter.
"She likes everything about you, dino! Why you always act like you don't know about it? I'm sick looking at both of you, really" Kibum said as he patted Jonghyun's head. Jonghyun had a shocked expression, if Kibum didn't know Jonghyun for the longest time, he would believe that Jonghyun was acting.
"Krystal likes me? Really?" He asked, trying to make sure what Kibum just said.
"You really don't know?"
"No" Jonghyun blinked, Kibum blinked. They were staring at each other before Kibum said,
"God. Are both of you that stupid? Everyone knows, Jjong"
"Everyone?" Jonghyun's voice became louder, Kibum had to 'Ssh' him first.
"Yes. Everyone"
They talked about Krystal until Kibum realized Jonghyun hadn't put on clothes and just a towel on his waist that kept him from being naked, somehow he felt uncomfortable looking at a half-naked Jonghyun so he told him to get dressed first.
After Jonghyun put on clothes, they talked and promised to confess to the girl of their dream soon.
