the XKCD you can see is not the true XKCD
I read XKCD on Monday morning. Of course I did, I always do; it's a daily habit. And I saw the title, and I saw the hover-over text, and I thought, hm, that's mildly curious, but I didn't look further.
Apparently I was missing out.
The hover-text read:Umwelt is the idea that because their senses pick up on different things, different animals in the same ecosystem actually live in very different worlds. Everything about you shapes the world you inhabit --from your ideology to your glasses prescription to your browser window size.
And indeed, browser, geographic location, and even browser window size were factors in constructing the comic that you saw. Wow!
