planning and s(h)aving

spent a few days back with susie and finally got my cance to visit ocad. i have to say, the atmosphere of that place reeks 'art school' and at this point, i'm starting to second guess my plans of not going. think about it: if i do apply, i have a year to make a portfolio and prepare. if i'm accepted, i should have no problem getting the full osap loan as i'm completely independant and have no savings for this sort of thing. so that will cover living expenses like food and rent. then i can get myself a little part time job working somewhere were they won't care about piercings and whatnot. wit hthe money from that i can save up for a tattoo gun and also continue with the important act of daily drinking. i'll also have plenty of time to look into that apprenticeship i want to find. it all works out... and te only real down side is i'll have to be willing to put some effort into a few classes i have no interest in. think i can handle that, considering i did it all through high school.

asides from ocad, we spent a few hours wandering kensington market. wile there, i discovered that i want both a hat and sunglasses for the summer and i know exactly which style of each i want. just need to grab 10$ and go pick them both up when my paycheck gets in. might grab a tank top or two while im at it. i had other things i planned for the money, too, but at this point i just want to get the hell out of here.

oh, last night i got my hair cut cause i was bored of it being so plain. i more or less have my hawk back at this point, just with v-bangs instead and a wider base. i think it looks pretty cute, though i certainly killed whatever bit of girlishness i might have once had.
