Samuel's urge to die is one of the reasons I'm not particularly fond with/of his character, but I think you showed it in such a manner that there's still hope for him.

I think he played well off Buffy and her him so I'm interested to see where their relation goes and where it has been. Which means: two thumbs up!

I love, love, love it, kerry! THANK YOU!!!! :D Having Samuel run into Buffy after Adam and Mercy's mating was perfect -- just the thing to get him out of the bad headspace he was heading towards. Of course, now, like Ava, I'm dying to know their past history and what happens next! (hint, hint)
