I think I've figured it out.
It's not that I'm smart, it's that I'm fat.
Now I'm not saying I'm some sort of drooling idiot. I'm probably o about average intelligence at best. It's just well... I'm fat and ugly so people think less than little of me. So when I say or do something that has nothing to do with food or being exhausted from sitting around eating all day, people get a tad... confused. After all, Fat people are only supposed to be capable of sitting and eating. So when I go and start acting against the role everyone has already set out for me, people tend to overreact. "It's not eating!" They think. "It's talking about things besides how hungry and exhausted it is! What kind of strange and unusual creature is this? To possess intelligence at this weight, why it must be some sort of superfatty! A Gluttonous Genius! a Thousand-Pound Prodigy! A multi-chined Mensa candidate!" and thus, with the bar set so low, average suddenly becomes extraordinary.
So yeah, not smart, people just expect that little of me.
