Being Grateful
I drove away from school last night and saw LIFE all around me. There were people walking these beautiful puppies along the sidewalk. Beauty. I've been reaching out to people around me to not allow myself to isolate with what's going on. This is good.
Albuquerque Pride is just around the corner and I've been networking with the community here to put together a float idea. Everyone is pulling together to make this happen.
I have classes this summer that fill me, and I enjoy greatly. I have friends that love me and make no excuses when the rubber is hitting the road. I have a girlfriend who is supporting me the best way she knows how, and that is to take care of herself for this month. I've been doing the same. Being able to show up to my life as best I can is very filling.
