I suck at thinking up good titles for these things.

Things are going pretty good at the moment.  I spent a very lovely couple of days with morbid_sparks last week where we, along with her mum and et-muse, went to see Avenue Q.  I honestly can't remember the last time I laughed that hard!

I had my first appointment at the pain clinic yesterday where they gave me some pain killers that actually kill pain!  For about 4 hours last night I was completely pain free for the first time in years and when it did come back it wasn't so severe.  The painkillers they gave me are Tramadol which is apparently pretty strong so I'm only to take them when the pain is really bad, but just knowing that that relief is available to me when I need it has made a huge difference to my mood. He also thinks a TENS machine would be helpful so they're giving me on long-term loan as soon as one is available.

Aside from the pain relief, having somebody actually believe me and take me seriously about how much pain I'm in some days was wonderful.  Don't get me wrong, my parents are great and the support I get from you guys is incredible, but having somebody who can actually do something about it believe me means more than anything.  I actually started crying in his office yesterday when he told me he could help me, it was that much of a relief.  I had honestly started to think that maybe the pain was all in my mind because nothing seemed to help it.

Apart from that, things are pretty quiet, atm.  The back door still hasn't been fixed from where it broke in February so Mum's social worker is going to get on to the council about it this week and see what can be done.  I'm still permanently broke and trying desperately to save some money so I can go and see Wicked next month to celebrate a certain person finishing her OU course and finally getting her degree.

Right now, I'm watching last nights Castle and trying to figure out (and hopefully fix) what the hell I did to the heel of the sock I'm knitting while I was watching Game of Thrones last night!

Speaking of GoT, I may have a tiny little thing for Tyrion.  Arya continues to be brilliant and I still want to smack Sansa and Cersei everytime I see them on screen (this is not being helped by the fact that I'm currently halfway through the second book at the moment).

I guess that's it.  Hope everybody is well and happy and I hope to see some of you soon (I have no idea how, but the hope is there).
