its a boy

we found out for sure the gender. it's a boy! so Oliver it is, which means Sebastian will have a brother. i suppose it's good for Bash, because same-gender siblings are likely to be closer. i am a little sad not to be having a daughter, but i cant say i'm too surprised, and going on how it was with Bash, I know I'll be thrilled and love him like crazy and probably never be able to imagine not having him.

funny story, my MIL said my mom told her i likely couldn't have girls, since i'm too "husky." lol, cause thats what determines gender, right? (dont bother me with your pesky facts and science, surely it's nonsense!) also, i wonder if she considers my stepsister, who has 2 sons, "husky" at size 2. gotta love those mom moments!

it is a little nice to know there is absolutely nothing we won't be able to reuse (although i was fully planning to stick my girl in boy clothes, bc who cares?) without having to defy convention. i also wont have to fight off all the pink junk (er, thoughtful gifts)that i really didnt want, since we're not huge fans of pink.

and now, i just have to hope that in a couple of years we'll be financially capable of trying one last time, although considering how much it sucks to be pregnant, i guess we'll see. and Bear doesnt seem thrilled at the prospect, either, but i think it may have to do with the fact that he really doesnt care about having a girl, so its just a little hard to get him excited about it.
