I've been a busy little bee today!
The Oklahoma State Fair is going on right now, so I went with Trish and Jeff to see its many splendors. We rode up to the top of this tall OG & E promotional tower-thing, ate chocolate-covered strawberries (mmmmmm), watched a guy dive eighty feet into a pool, pet a llama, and saw a woman with a giant tattoo of a unicorn on the back of her leg. Then, to make it THE perfect experience, I shot lots of water into a target and won a prize! The CIA would be lucky to have me.
Besides the fair, I also did homework, took an unplanned yet delightfully disorienting nap, managed to get a slight sunburn, and played two games of Yahtzee (which is probably even better than Sorry). Now I am le tired but should probably read some more Russian history- I have a test on Friday and am not exactly a Russian genius as of yet. All those years working for the KGB and I never learned a thing...so sad, so sad.
I heard through the grapevine (aka my dad) that my mom wants to go to Venice avec moi. I'm not really sure she wants to go with me but I'm assuming that's the case. And if not my parents are going to have one unhappy camper coming home at Christmastime. But not really because whatever, Venice won't be gone within the next twenty years...or will it? dundundun I still think it's crazy that a place can just sink out of existence. I hope Oklahoma stays afloat for at least another year- keep your fingers crossed!
