So yeah, I decided it'd be a good idea to update while I'm here.
This week went pretty well. The blood drive is now over, and it pretty much kicked ass. Tuesday was slow, and we were 13 under quota (we had 47 total). However, that afternoon John Stein, the dean of students, sent out an email to all of Georgia Tech reminding them of the blood drive. That one email got us so many people on Wednesday that we ended up beating the two-day quota. For all the advertising, word-of-mouth, and recruitment that we did, one email changed everything. Oh, but there's a new coordinator for the Midtown area at the Red Cross, and she is hoooooooooot!
I also had two tests. My health test was pretty easy, as should be expected. However, I was astonished at my Calc II test. It wasn't particularly easy, but except for one problem I think I got everything right. And that one problem resided completely on memorizing the formula for the remainder of Taylor series. Unfortunately, I either did really well or really poorly. No middle ground for teh Nate.
Tiffany's home in a month! I can't freaking wait. Please let me tell you how much I miss her. And we celebrate being together for one year in 20 days.
Working here so much is slowly rotting my brain. I need to learn to read with distractions again.
In other news, living in the house over the summer rocks. First off, it's cheap as hell. Sure, I have two roommates so privacy is at a minimum, but I deal. It's a lot of fun. There's always someone to hang out with and talk to. Since my room is at the top of the stairs a lot of people drop by randomly. I enjoy the company.
Yeah, not sure what else to write. Nate out!
