Jesus Christ. Well i watched Ichi the Killer today. It's quite the movie. Now i liked Versus cause it was senseless zombie violence done japanese style, but this movie is something else. Now i'm probably daft, but it seems like this movie is fight club meets yakuza meets gore. without the childlike explaination fight club gives u.
this feeling inside. feeling of wonder. of pain. of revultion. of art.
this movie has stirred quite a response from me. i always have had the theory that anything that provokes such intense emotions has done it's job. like when i first watched candyman when i was 11, and i cried for 2 days and to this day i can't go into a washroom with the lights off. Now THAT is a movie. Too much focus on what makes us feel good. I believe that which makes us feel bad is just as wonderful.
