(no subject)
As a couple of you already know, I'm pregnant. I have no idea why I never posted this announcement the day I took the pregnancy tests but I'm doing so now. I went to the doctor's office yesterday to get an ultrasound done to see how far I was. I was actually on birth control when I got pregnant and the last cycle I had I thought was June 17th but apparently it was May 17th.
So anyway, I go to the doctor thinking I'm 10 weeks and it turns out that I'm 14 weeks along, a couple of days from 15 weeks. I was shocked to say the least. I'm an emotional person to begin with and seeing my baby on the screen was too exciting not to cry. I had tears running down my face and then I heard the heartbeat and burst out into sobbing loudly. The woman even told me I had to stop so she could take pictures of it.
Since I'm only 15 weeks and the earliest you can tell is 16 weeks, I'll probably have to wait until about 18 to 20 weeks to find out if it's a boy or a girl. My boyfriend and I are hoping for a boy but a girl will be just as sweet. Here is a picture of my baby.
Of course it's back would be to the camera and the woman said it was actually laying on it's stomach in my womb. Look at it's bony little butt! It's hard to tell from the camera picture of my real picture but it's head is at the top, it's arms are bent at the elbow, it's hands are under it's chin, and it's legs are bent at the knees like it's praying and it's under my baby's butt.
Sorry if this stretched anyone's pages out. I was just too excited to put it under the cut. This is my first baby and my mom's first grandchild.
