Awesome! Listening to DJ Reggie is way cool. Haha Ryan Adams is so cool!
I realised that I've not posted for over a month, but it's not 'cos my life is so uninteresting to not be worth posting about. Just in case anyone thinks that... I've just been keeping all of my memories in my head. I've not quite got the hang of quick blogs, or back into 'deep thought' mode so anything I say is going to be pretty dull! I love that winter is almost upon us though. I'm probably going to be staying here for Christmas, working my lil bum off and going to London for a few days to see the lights and go iceskating. I like the smell of autumn, and my scarves. I need to make my collection bigger!
Uni seems to put a huge strain on retaining friendships; it's like trying to break through a brickwall just to see people. I was reading my yearbook the other day and there are so many people I thought I'd stay in touch with who are so far away now. I guess it's all part of growing up, but I don't like most parts of growing up. Luckily I've got some new friends to provide a counterbalance of loss against gain. And when all else fails I've got my mp3 player!
It's all about new starts and all that jazz, and the past few months have all been about growing up, or not so much growing up, growing out and expanding on whatever base I had to start from. I've not grown up, if anything I've got more immature! But I don't really care. What matters more is that I'm happy, and on the whole, I am.
This month I've been to two gigs; I saw Fratellis again and then Dresden Dolls on Friday! Dresden Dolls were amazing (though not Ryan Adams!); they had street artists in the venue, juggling and walking around on stilts, dancers on stage (and doing crazy things on silk curtains hanging down from the ceiling!). There was even a burlesque dancer (haha it was so funny watching the guys around the venue watching her). It was all fun, and I got to spend more time in London, which I have now decided is my favourite place to be really.
I went home for a day too! Spent the day with Tim, playing pool and then Grand Theft Auto. I tried to look for Jon too but missed him by about half an hour. Sorry!
Dumdidum.
