I'm an extraordinary machine...
Oh! Candle wax is just the coolest thing. I was lying on my bed in the dark, listening to music, and had my candles on! But then decided to go and see how they were burning and played with the wax for a while. I like the way it feels just before it's cooled, or the feeling of it cooling on your skin. Candles, in general I guess, are cool. I just hope I don't get wax on my clothes or the floor like last time I was lighting them.
I think that staying up late is a bad thing! I always get really hungry if I'm up quite late. Autumn, where are you? I miss you!
Today I went out for the first time in days! I forgot how pretty Cheltenham is in the summer. It'd be nice to have the promenade mixed with Hoe at Plymouth, though Plymouth city centre isn't too shabby really. Much nicer than Gloucester centre anyway! But it was good; I bought a frappucino and wandered around for a while, then met Jon. We bought cheese and met many of his friends, as well as staring at the huge monitor in Apple Store. Then we had milkshakes and Jon went to Gloucester so I went home. I bumped into my brother on the bus (he didn't notice me for ages!) and then we came home and watched Jason Mraz on dvd.
How freakin' unfair to find out that The Take It Easy Buddies are his band and I could have seen him again on Tuesday for £3! I guess I shall have to deal with just seeing him once and watching my dvd at regular intervals.
I found my Rachael Yamagata album earlier. I'd forgotten how good it is, but I'm really into the singer/ songwriters again at the moment. Her voice is gorgeous, so smokey and it fits with the piano so well! I almost bought Nebraska by Springsteen earlier, and some Tom Waits albums (Blue Valentine and Rain Dog in case anybody cares). Actually, I'm just liking female artists in general. I've just dug out my Fiona Apple album and have been listening to Tristan Prettyman a lot recently.
I'm such a hopeless case! I can't find my Goo Goo Dolls tickets, and I managed to find my student finance form yesterday... the deadline is tomorrow (well, now today!). So whoops...
