Wow It's Been A Long Time.....
Well this is the first post i've made in over a year, but i'm just gonna talk about the recent stuff.
Gerry and I have been in Texas for two weeks now. It's completely flown by. I leave on Sunday to go to Dallas, which is about an hour and 45 minutes from our apartment in Waco. I'm taking a week long law preview course, where they give you an overview of every subject you'll encounter during your first year.
I don't want to go. I don't want to start law school. I just want to do nothing. Of course that's not feasible, and three years from now i'll be very happy that I put myself through hell but right now the idea of it just sucks.
I got a new laptop for school but it wasn't as exciting as I thought it would be. Part of it is the fact that it's purpose is law school and I think also because I can't go on the internet with it yet. I have a wireless router but for some reason I can't get on a secure network with it. I'm too damn paranoid to access any of my password accounts on an unsecure network, hence not really functional.
Most exciting, Gerry and I got a new kitten! His name is Guinness at the moment, but we're considering changing it to Nigel. The poor thing's been through so many names he's gonna get an identity disorder!
I haven't really talked to anyone from home since my going away party. I've talked to Emily twice but only because she called me. I feel like a really shitty friend but i'm so busy adjusting and getting everything in order. Whenever I want to call some one, it seems to always be at the wrong time. Everyone will be at work, or it's like 11 at night here, which means it's midnight in Michigan and I don't want to wake people up. It sounds like an excuse, and a bad one at that, but it's true.
Alright, Gerry's going to drop off some of our clothes at the Goodwill and I told him I would clean while he's gone so this entry's coming to an end.
