I was due something...
The weekend was awesome fun. I took two unpaid days off in anticipation of its fantabulousness.
There was booze, there was boobs, I got embarrased in front of some lovely girls (I surrender). There was the "Classic westerns appreciation hour!" (To the station!!!) There was even laughing and giggling at trance ravers dancing. There was also a lack of sleep, a massive hangover, a trip to a computer store to buy a friends new beast, a trip to KFC to soothe my pains and then lots and lots of sleep to recover.
So today I left home with that wonderful glow of an excellent weekend spent in praise of bacchus. Just one more day of work to face before 4 days off.
(Cue the sad violins) Then..... my car broke down as I arrived in the car park at work.
I was due... it really doesn't phase me. In the karmic balance of things, it would take a breakdown to balance out all the fun I had. As it is it looks like my mechanic will have my car back on the road tomorrow. I am really happy with the service I get from my mechanic and free NRMA tows make it easy.
The slightly embarrasing thing is gonna be borrowing my brothers volvo. I mean.... its a volvo.... *SHUDDER*
