The final breakdown of the recall referendum vote in Bolivia in which Evo Morales won 67% of the vote. This is an excellent, thorough analysis of the voting with some surprising conclusions, mostly that the country isn't nearly as divided as the media would have you think - even in regions which are represented as hotbeds of opposition, Evo won comfortably in the areas outside the cities. One of the points being made is that the pro-autonomy groups who are the de facto opposition to the government, are less the legitimate, widespread proto-nationalist groups they claim to be and more a small movement with limited reach, based in the city of Santa Cruz. Also, that quite a lot of people apparently voted for the pro-autonomy people at local level and for Evo Morales at national level, which is interesting, considering that the two camps are more or less at daggers drawn and have been for over a year now. Go and have a look; it's in English, and everything.
