Upping the intensity
Moments of fannish joy:
1. When someone tells you that your story made them feel something.
2. When someone asks you about the significance of part of your story that you kind of thought was insignificant.
3. When someone else will stay up until four AM typing their fingers off in chat....squeeing about something and never notice the time passing.
4. When someone puts you on a recs list and puts their seal on it, saying that there is something I like.
5. When some amaaaaaazing artist makes you something based on one of your stories...a drawing, a photomanip, a VID.
6. But the best, the BEST of all of these is when you say kind of self-pityingly to your beta: 'You probably don't have time to read this do you?' and she says: 'the hell I DON'T' and then gets you your pages back in an HOUR.
I just want to say THANK YOU to all the people who have done something like the above...I am so humbled and grateful. And a particularly fulsome shout-out t lousy_science or number 6!
