Ok, ever since 1x04 (Phantom Traveler) with the introduction of the whole "demons flinch at the name of Christ in Latin which we say is Cristo (but isn't really)", I've been wondering about poor demons dealing with random people talking about "The Count of Monte Cristo" or ordering/eating "Monte Cristo" sandwiches and causing demons to flinch around 'em.
Well, now with 5x20 we've got a retcon that from the last month or so of Sam's Sophomore Fall semester, he was hanging with a demon as one of his bestest buddies.
How's about an AU fic where Sam sees the black-eyed flinch from Brady in passing conversation. Like someone in the group talking about reading it in English class or renting that 2002 Guy Pierce version of "The Count of Monte Cristo"? How would he react? What would Brady do if he'd knew he'd been caught?
So anyone want to write it for me? I'd write it, but ficcing has proven hazardous to my mental health. That and I'm lazy. ;-)
