(no subject)
Just thought I'd update with shorter more frequent posts.
First off, I'd like to thank all you guys for the well wishes you sent me for my twenty-third - I will get back to every single one of you, promise. I'm bordering on being pretentious now aren't I? :3
Not sure why exactly I felt the sudden urge to update. I should really be in bed, as I'm currently running on the two hours of sleep I got last night.
Got round to re-installing Windows, but '98 refuses to recognise any web connection so I'm back on winxp.
The re-install hasn't helped at all 'cept to free up some space and Explorer still takes 5:42 seconds to load - yes I did time it. What I hadn't realised was that it would take the best part of a week to get things back to the way they were.
I'm still having trouble with the latest version of iTunes though. It refuses to allow JHymn access to its files, so I'm having to rip and re-import files as mp3. I'll play the tracks on whichever devices I want thank you.
Alternatives? Subscription? iTunes is free. Walkman? I've already tried they're new player, but Connect doesn't work well with my machine - any recommendations people?
Maybe I'd have been better off without any sleep at all...
