Intervention is such a great show, but my only qualm is that 80% of the episodes are alcohol and meth. The alcohol ones are always great (drunk people are funny), but Meth gets old after a while. Here's what I'd like to see on Intervention
Sex - They had one episode where the billed a woman as an alcoholic sex addict, but really she was just an alcoholic who used to have sex rather promisculously, but not anymore.
Video Games - They did one episode on this addicition and it's mys second favorite, right behind the woman who was addicted to computer dust remover with half a dozen cats in her house. That brings me to my next one
Animals - Who would not want to have an intervention with the elderly woman down the street who has thirty cats running up and down the block?
Loved ones - I saw an episode of Dr. Phil late one night that focused on a man who was clinically obsessed with his wife. He wasn't physically or verbally abusive, but he would lock her in the house and not let her leave because he was afraid she would leave him for someone else and he just needed to be near her. After she finally got away, he would continuously stalk her and her home and work. Long story short, the guy's in jail.
Shopping - I've seen two epsiodes on this one. A very good one from first season (although this was when they were profiling two people per episode, so it was really only half an episode) and another one also early on in the series (again, another split episode). I've learned a lot about shopping addicition through my profession, and it would be a really interesting topic.
