was a matt damon movie kind of day
sunday was my first shift at phoenix. 12-4. worked with damon. was pretty cool, not too busy but still cool. got paid in cash when we were leaving, 8 bucks an hr. nice.
went home took a nap and then ryan came over, i picked up catherine, and drove to danbury to see head automatica at the empress. pitstop at the bell for a quesadilla first.
got to the show. 9 million degrees inside. saw like yesterday, the start, and ha. like yesterdays new songs sound diff than the stuff i heard them play the 2 other times. decent. the start was good. female fronted band. singer def had hard nipples the whole time haha. i was impressed with the music. bought a cd. head automatica was very fun. played pretty much the same songs as the webster show a month ago. again, no king caesar. :( oh well. bought a light blue ha shirt and went outside. got craig from the band to do a spot for my show "this is craig from h.a. and yer listening to the kevin hagan show on wsin." solid. went to blue colony diner off exit 10, raf met us there along with spins, erica m, and her friend christian. hadnt seen raf gangster in a while. good times. then home.
today slept in which was damn good although i missed my appt at lenscrafters to get my lenses fixedcuz theyre def not strong enough and im still squinting. grr. had rice krispies treats cereal at catherines and went to 2 diff dollar stores, then marshalls. ran into this kid from hot topic that i talked to last week when i went there lookin for the new coheed comic book, which was available there first but had already sold out. gotta check there this week again supposed to get more. so i talked to him for a lil bit. speaking of coheed.....sept 27 in atlantic city...coheed, the blood brothers, dredg, and mewithoutyou. tickets went on sale today. me and jim are going we got tix already. sickkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. cant wait.
dropped catherine off at home, went home for a bit, watched a lil of good will hunting on a&e, then hollister 5-10. around 7 this girl came in and said that head automatica was in the brass mill mall. yes, the dirty ass waterbury mall and head fuckin automatica is there. so i bug out and go out in the mall not caring that im at work. met the keyboardist and talked to him for like 5 minutes. asked him to come to the store when met up with rest of band. def never did. didnt see or meet anyone else. dahhh. oh well. those same kids were waiting outside the mall when i got out at 10. they told me h.a. was at regal cinemas seeing batman and they were waiting for them to get out to talk to them or whatever. devotion.
went to jims and watched rounders and ate chips. awesome movie which we both own. playin poker at ryans house tomorrow. played last week too. so much fun. cant wait. sleepy time now. out.
