Title: HERO
Challenge: [251] Sobriquet
Rating: G
Word Count: 288
Notes: Nothing spoilerish, pretty simple-and how does one go from being a kid to a hero?

He was the hero, the Keyblade Master-the one that would overcome it all. He wielded the keyblade and fought the Heartless and …

…and he was a fifteen year old boy that sometimes goofed off and acted like a kid and cried for his friends, his family and his home. Sometimes he didn't feel like he was the Keyblade Master. Sometimes he wanted to search for him, too. He wanted to have someone to look up to, to think about and say "that's the one that'll make everything better."

It took time, but not too much-(if everyone said you were this hero and they were counting on you, then you had to BE the hero)-and soon he saw himself as the one that was going to at least try and help to save everyone. No matter what everyone said, he didn't just see himself as the sole hero. All the people he met, across all the worlds, were heroes, too. They fought for their world, they stocked up against the invasions and they kept their hearts strong and whole.

He was no longer just "Riku's friend" or part of the group of kids that lived on Destiny Island. He wasn't just Sora anymore.

He was the hero, the keyblade wielder and the one destined to save the worlds.

He had to be.

Everyone said so.
