Challenge: [221] Spellbound
Title: Magic in Her Footsteps
Word Count: 399
Spoilers: None
Rating/Warnings: G, no warnings
Notes: Due to the wonderful nature of roleplaying and just the Kingdom Hearts fandom in general, one can come up with all sorts of neat little backstory events. <3 Also, uh, this probably only vaguely ties in with the challenge...? Whoops. It kind of makes more sense if you can realize what job class is being hinted at. Also, written for a friend. She knows who she is.
Magic in Her Footsteps
"Teach me!" the child demands of the pretty gypsy woman who travels with her caravan, the gorgeous dancer with the cat green eyes and jangling gold that shines about her ankles, those very same feet which entrance and twist and bend a body to the woman's will. Those pretty pretty eyes only twinkle in tune with her smile, and clever fingers flutter over white feathers, guiding the little one in a dance she will never forget.
Because there is a special something that binds a heart when one becomes fluid like water and wind and words.
"Join me," the songstress pleads with a smile, her fluttering, roaming words twisting about the gorgeous woman with the wild pale hair and short smooth fur of tan, the tall being which towers over her even crouched down by the fires of this inn, too close to the woods for many a traveler. Those stoic dark eyes only widen in curiosity, and stiletto heels click clack snap against the world as they venture outwards, forging a friendship that never truly ends despite distance and space and stars between them now.
Because there is a special something that binds a heart when one offers their hand in friendship and never let's go.
"Bite me," the pirate snaps with a glare and a frown towards the cocky male who would steal her friend away from her with charm and an aim as steady as his loyalty, never crumbling despite her jealousy, despite how she grows as cold as the many sky nights. Those too-warm eyes only light up in understanding, and it is his hand, rough from airship work and theft, that catches her when she almost falls, both from her path in the sunlight and from the window of their cockpit.
Because there is a special something that binds a heart when one forgives and let's those who are closest go where it seems one can't reach.
"Promise me," she says sofly, coyly, fluttering her eyelashes at the short tempered mage who sits besides her, fingers which have directed fire and guided lightning entwined with hers. His bright blue eyes only duck beneath his oversized hat before they look into hers again, smiling in anxious happiness before they lean close to one another. When they kiss, the lagoon lights up with a city of fireflies.
Because there is a special something that binds a heart when one waltzes right into love.
