Notes: So, this my first challenge here. I hope I've done alright. :3
KH1-verse.
Their blades clashed and clanged against one another; every once in a while, landing a hit that caused stinging pain and eventual bruises through torn clothing and on soft flesh.
A short brunet and a silver-haired boy were going head-to-head, fighting fiercely, intensely. Whatever the outcome would decide the fate of the world - flooded with light, or drowned in choking darkness.
Sky blue never once faltered from aquamarine, not when whizzing around the battleground, landing blows on each other, or even when their owner stopped to savor the bitter, herbal taste of a potion, or bathe in the warm-glow and mint-scent of Curaga.
Though the physical pain was healed, there was another type of pain; and with it, was a realization that would not go away.
They couldn't lie to themselves this time and use the excuse of "Child's Play" for this type of sparring. No. After all, they weren't using wooden swords anymore.
