She hated being jealous. It always made her stomach hurt.
It wasn't that she didn't like the other girl - that was the worst part. Most of the time, they were great friends. But whenever she saw Sora and Riku competing and showing off just for her, she couldn't seem to help it.
What made Kairi so special? Sure, she was pretty, in a quiet sort of way; but she could be pretty, too. So why was it that she was always "just one of the guys," when Kairi was this object to be admired?
And it wasn't only Sora and Riku, either - Wakka and Tidus treated her differently, too. They would never do half of the rude or gross things they did with her around Kairi.
She was still a girl, wasn't she? Or did she just not matter as much?
It was so frustrating... Stupid Tidus. Stupid boys. Stupid stomach ache.
