Day started off simple enough. Me and my mom took the cats to the vet for their regular check ups. That went along fine...even talked to a friend in my graduating class that worked there.
We got home, and my sister was still "sick." Things still seem to be normal.
Me and my dad go to the gym. Ordinary.
The day was all fine until me and my dad got home. I checked my cell phone and saw that I had missed a call from my mother. Alright.
I'm on the computer, talking to Ash, when my mom calls. My dad picks up, and a little later, he comes out and says that my sister was taken to a nearby hospital. he also tells me to look something up for him: Subdural hematoma. If you want to read up on it, the url I found first was:
http://www.emedicine.com/EMERG/topic560.htm Basically, my sister cracked her head open on the cement one night. She didn't even know it...she learned that she did this from the friend that was with her when it happened. We thought she was sick; it was worse. We thought she had a concussion; again, it was worse. A lot of blood has leaked out of her brain, but the bleeding has stopped, and now the brain has to absorb it all back up. She's been vomiting almost nonstop and has no recollection at all of any of the incident.
I am sure that she will be ok eventually, but she is in agonizing pain at the moment.
This is really killing me. I hate seeing my sister in any kind of pain and my sister may need to be in the hospital for weeks.
I am going to visit her as often as I can.
