It's 100% tablet. First time I've gone all digital. I prefer my cute mechanical pencils but tablet has many advantages if I can learn to use it.

THE PEN ELOPED WITH WITH WHOM??? STRIPPER DAIKENJA?

Woah. I think my first try with a tablet was some random doodle... I have an old(?) tablet thing with a USB plug that goes into the compy... plus it comes with a special pen, without which it will refuse to work... Is your tablet the same kind of item?

Mine is kind of... too big for my desktop, and I preferred all-out hand-drawing anyway, so I rarely ever used it... I haven't been drawing for months anyway (;_;)... but since now I have a laptop + I hate scanning stuff so, I've been itching to use it since... huh, about the time I made this icon, I think, but I can't find the pen anymore! It was always there when I didn't need it, and now apparently it got sick of my neglecting it and disappeared...

IM NOT SURE MAYBE IT WAS STRIPPER DAIGENEUS??

I have a Wacom Intuos (3?) 6x8 size. I also prefer drawing by hand. And I loooove inking with India ink. If I knew how to make black ink lines brown or blue-gray digitally, then I may stick with hand-inking.

So, you do all your Photoshop magic with a mouse?? *awe*

Mine is a, huuuh... AIPTEK? No idea what size... 8D I think my mother got it for me... I tried it and went "D8" at the result/feel of it... I'd love to be able to use it though... I was really impressed when I read that Matsumoto Temari does her illustrations digitally... *sigh*

Just recently my interest in digital drawing was rekindled, not sure why... maybe because I haven't been able to do hand-drawing lately?

Ah, sousou! I forgot to ask! Sorry for being dense, but did you also do the coloring with the tablet? I thought it looked a lot like pencil!

xD With my laptop's touchpad actually xD My laptop's mouse is... huh, somewhere? x3 I hadn't touched photoshop in a looong time until recently, so thank you lots for your compliment! <3

Yeah, I've been studying Matsumoto Temari -sensei's color work, and realized they were digital. She's amazing, and one of my drawing idols *_*

Coloring was also digital, using Corel Painter. They have a lot of brushes that are supposed to simulate real media. It's really hard on computer resources though, and sometimes buggy.

I believe there was an article about her l33t digital artwork somewhere... did you see that? *_*

Corel Painter, Corel Painter... mmmm... gotta check and see if I have that somewhere... it actually does make a good job of looking like real media! (I don't think my compy could take it rite nao tho... ;_;)

I read in another post *nosy* that you just re-took drawing a year agop or so! I'm impressed! (It's got to be about the time Is topped... xD) I'm so scared of what could happen when I really try again! (Well, I tried once or twice but I had NOES inspiration whatsoever so I just dropped it...) ^^;

No, I didn't see that article. I'll hunt around for it... Temari-sensei is really incredible.

If the canvas is too big my computer chokes on Corel Painter. I wish I could use OpenCanvas but it keeps crashing for some reason.

If you pick up drawing again I would like to see ^^

Heheheh... iie iie... sonna koto nai... ^^;

Do you think the mouse would give bettar results? Lately, I've been wondering if I should plug it back in... to get better results until I manage to find the pen/ another tablet... byt I have "weird handedness issues" anyway so...?

Hmmm, I don't know if a mouse would be much better than a touchpad. Touchpad always makes my hand hurt eventually though, just doing regular computer work. But I don't really know Photoshop, so I'm not qualified for advice...
