nannying = hard work & great birth control incentive!
This summer I have been a nanny for two boys and today was my last official day. Luke is 9 and Adam is 13. This has been the most exhausting job I have ever had. Running after them all summer was rough. Luke has had 3 worst days of his life with me and today was one of them. This worst day began b/c he wanted to play monopoly without playing by the rules and when his brother quit playing b/c of this he went ballistic. Stomping, slamming doors. He even told me he hated me and he never wanted to see me again. A nine year old almost made me cry! Luckily I have learned that if I just ignore him for 30 minutes he will come apologize. Morning was hell, but we had a good time this afternoon.
Babysitting has taught me a few lessons
1.) I was the worst child ever and i feel bad for my parents
2.) I don't think I can handle my own children anytime soon
3.) When I do have children I do not want four boys like this family...i would cry, a lot.
