Buffy RPG
So I'm (possibly) running a Buffy RPG this semester.
The time? Season 8 comics are canon, and we're basically current with the first 9 issues. The setting? Worcester, MA, location of another hell-mouth (none of you are surprised, I'm sure!).
The premise? Well, with Buffy setting up the slayers into cells, and distributing them around the world, some got sent back to the good ol' US of A. Unfortunately, these cells look an awful lot like terrorist cells to the U.S. Government, and they're not happy with Buffy destroying Sunnydale. Or her minions continuing to live in the U.S.
My game will follow the slayer cell stationed in Worcester, MA, as they deal with their latest threat (of both monster and government).
Anyway, if any of you are close enough to want to come up to SLC for a weekly game (probably 5 episodes in season 1, and possibly a season 2 if people are still interested) of Buffy, let me know. I'm still looking for a couple players.
Otherwise, I'm asking those of you who are familiar with Worcester to give me advice about actual locations that I can modify and use for my purposes. Right now, I'm probably using Spider Gates (a "haunted" cemetery, near Worcester's Airport) and Liquid Sky (before it shut down, obviously). I'm looking for a few others.
Anyone know anything about Bancroft Tower?
