I never seem to be able to update my journal alot. Here is another shot.

So first semester of sophomore year is over. As is christmas break. A few thoughts on both:

First semester was interesting, to say the least. Living in Moore seemsed to suck at first with all the damage and whatnot, but after a few weeks turned into a very pleasant place. I got to know alot of the girls upstairs so it was a fun place. I got a job at the Newport Creamery at the begining of the year. I liked it at first, but then I got shitty pay. Academically speaking, first semester was ridiculously hard. I will be the first to admit I am not world's most diligent student, however, I put alot of time and effort into all my classes, but they inevitably kicked my ass. 75% of the responsibility going to Lucy and her fabulous course of Teaching Reading in the Content Area...I had a really fun time with all my friends first semester and I feel really comfortable with them. So life was good!

Christmas break was great. I went home thinking I would be bored to tears with nothing to do. Turns out I had so much fun. I was with my favorite ND buds so much doing random things..such as scrapbooking..but it was so great to see everyone-there was never a dull moment...I never ended up getting a job which I regret now, but ohhhh well. I saw some people I had not seen in so long! I even went to the Museum of Science (who's the cool kid) with one of my favorites....and some of my SALVE girlies came up for the night before we headed back to school!

So I was all set to come back to school when I received the call that a pipe had exploded in my room in Moore, destroying the rugs, ceiling, floors, and walls. So we had to move out of that room into an open triple, oddly enough, in Ochre Lodge (where I lived last year). What makes the whole thing weirder is that I live in the triple that I shared a connecting bathroom last year when I lived in the adjoining double. It's a good room and Ochre is really nice. The roomies and I are adjusting. I have a feeling that classes this semester are going to kick my ass even harder than last semester. But my goal is Dean's List. One night over break I had a dream that I made Dean's List. I thought about it for awhile and I decided that there is no good reason that I should not make it, I'm just not trying hard enough. So don't let me slack off!

That's all for now! Leave me comments and such!
