First memoir of Lady Trent, covering her childhood, marriage, and first zoological expedition. I would have preferred it more if either the geography was more similar to Europe or the cultures were less so. On the plus side, it's the first (adult) fantasy book I've read this year that didn't have prophecy or mind control.
