stuff
Well I haven't said a lot lately and I'm sorry. I've been busy. I'll recap with an executive summary and if you want more detail shoot me an email or ask questions.
Connor
- Potty training is going very very well. We are down to less than one accident a day and he has no reservations about pooping in the potty. We still have some off days, but for the most part I'm comfortable saying he is about 80% there.
- He is actually minding the manners we've taught him and if you don't abide by the same rules he calls us out on it. (Example: I interrupted my sister the other day while she was talking to my mom and I was told. "Mommy, Say excuse me and then wait for a reply. Don't be rude.")
Mather
- Mather has fully mastered walking and is now working on running.
- Mather loves to wear his shoes and also believes that if you agree to put his shoes on he gets to go outside.
- Mather says momma, dadda, onnor and lots of screaming and grunting
Me
- I had my gallbladder out on Thursday and I'm writing this while pretty high. I'm still in a good amount of pain, but am going to give work a go
- I have a picture of the heart shaped bandages they put on my abdomen. I'm not sure who thought that would be cute, but I wasn't amused.
- We got a new car. Yes I know we just got one, but this one is bigger and was not nearly as impulsive as the last buy. It is a magic blue Volvo XC90. I really like it, but have yet to drive ours because I'm too stoned. I don't think the paperwork was all that legal since I was seeing double when I went in to sign everything, but if we didn't take the car by the 30th we'd have lost the a significant amount of discount they threw our way.
- Work is good and I'm sort of busy
- I was starting to loose the post-breastfeeding weight I gained, but now who the hell knows.
- I'm joining the gym at work once I'm cleared to workout again.
- I pooped today!
