Hey f-listers! Hope all's well by you! A few things.
First, have a fic I wrote for
coyotesuspect for
shipswap.
Bad Company (2036 words) by
heyitskFandom:
Football RPFRating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warnings: Author Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings
Relationships: David Beckham/Iker Casillas
Characters: David Beckham, Iker Casillas, José Mourinho
Additional Tags: Psychopaths In Love, Alternate Universe, Assassins & Hitmen
Summary: Nearing sleep on a red eye flight that carried him from Madrid to Berlin, David assessed whether it had been the wisest of choices to add another enemy to an already rather lengthy list.
Never thought I'd actually get paired with someone who wanted football fic, but that worked out well!
Next up, here's the TOTALLY AWESOME gift I received in exchange.
Milestone (2337 words) by
jaegermightyFandom:
Melissa & Joey (TV)Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Mel Burke/Joe Longo
Characters: Mel Burke, Joe Longo, Lennox Scanlon, Ryder Scanlon
Summary: It's the in-betweens that matter most, with Mel and Joe, and he hears all that stuff she doesn't say anyway. She picks up his, too - two years, she thinks. Yeah, I guess I could stand a few more.
Stop me if you've heard this before, but there is something so damn likable about this show. I mean, Clarissa, explaining it all to Joey Russo. WHOA! Never knew I needed a Who’s the Boss? reboot before these two showed me the error of my ways. Now if only someone would write a fic in which Mel and Joe meet-cute with Angela and Tony, who offer them advice about life, love and live studio audiences.
In other news, anyone else out there doing
not_primetime? Still waiting to hear what I've been assigned, but am actually super excited about all the fandoms I offered. i'm also considering doing the
M/M Rares Exchange. You've got until the end of the day tomorrow , May 3, to nominate
fandoms and pairings, so pop on over and get your fic needs heard! Even if you don't end up participating, it's always nice to have more options to ponder over.
Finally, who else has World Cup Fever? 40 MORE DAYS, YO! My football-savvy friends and I are all busy tweaking our work, grad school and vacation schedules to make sure we don't miss a moment of it. Seems that Dempsey's feet are on fire lately, so there's hope for us yet. The wilderness years are nearly over, friends!!!
