So much for wanting gov't out of health care
The Oklahoma Legislature has just mandated that any woman getting an abortion receive an ultrasound (vaginal if it's an early pregnancy) and receive a detailed description of the fetus. There are no exceptions for rape or incest victims. Good thing conversatives hate, hate, hate the idea of the government getting involved with health care decisions. Maybe that's just health care for men... women must be obvously be treated like little children who are incapable of making moral decisions on their own.
Doctors are also now allowed to flat out lie to women about birth defects in fetuses (that's for all pregnancies, not just women seeking an abortion). They can't be sued for it after the baby is born.
