Raingarden

The storm that came in yesterday and rained all day was a great test for our new raingarden. Here's some before and after pictures from our landscaping. The "before" picture was taken in the late afternoon and about a month ago, before the columbines were blooming. The "after" picture was taken in the early morning, so the lighting is totally different. Still.. I'm really happy with how it turned out, and I can't wait to see what happens when everything grows in. The black pipe in the upper left is where the rain from our house's gutter ends up. (And now we really need to clean out those gutters.)
