LJI 10 Week 8: The Big Brown Bunny!
A note from alycewilson: This is KFP's entry for Week 8 of LJ Idol, where the topic is "No Comment." We talked about reasons that someone might not want to say something, such as not wanting to embarrass a friend. Not surprisingly, KFP was eating dinner when he came up with this one!

Panel 1: Carrot is hanging out inside his red house, sitting on a green leaf and watching the weather on TV. The words say, "One summer day in the garden, Lettuce and..."
Panel 2: The words say, "... Carrot were hanging out." In this picture, we see a close-up of Lettuce from outside his window. He is looking through binoculars.
Panel 3: The words say, "Then Lettuce sees something in his binoculars!" The picture shows the view through Lettuce's binoculars. At left we see Carrot's red house. At the right is a green hill and a brown object suggestive of a large brown bunny.
Panel 4: The words say, "He rushes to Carrot's house." The picture shows Lettuce running from the right of the screen towards Carrot's red house, so fast there are streaks behind him. The weather station is still playing from inside the house, saying, "Sunny but..."
Panel 5: The words say, "Lettuce tells Carrot, 'There is a bunny near your house!'" In the picture, we see a close-up of Carrot, whose mouth is full, because he is eating a dirt hot dog. He has a somewhat surprised look on his face. We also see a close-up of Lettuce, who is talking and gesturing wildly with his hands.
Panel 6: A thought bubble against a red background shows a sign that reads "NO BUNNYS!" The words say, "How strange," Carrot thinks.
Panel 7: The words say, "Carrot thinks to himself, 'You forgot, Fred doesn't let bunnies in the garden.'" Fred is the gardener. The picture shows Carrot with his mouth closed, as he chews, and Lettuce still looking very alarmed.
Panel 8: We see a view out the window, showing what Carrot is looking at: a green hill beside his house, with a large brown tree.
Panel 9: The words say, "Then, a couple minutes after lunch, Lettuce noticed what Carrot was thinking about." That is to say, Lettuce noticed where Carrot was looking. In the picture, we see Carrot concentrating on the last piece of his dirt hot dog. Lettuce is still talking.
Panel 10: We see another view out the window, showing the tree on the hill. This time, it is depicting what Lettuce sees.
Panel 11: The words say, "Lettuce says to Carrot, 'Never mind that whole bunny story. It's a tree." Carrot blinks twice and Lettuce begins to smile.
Panel 12: The words say, "Carrot blinks a couple times, then they both laugh. The end." We see Carrot and Lettuce both collapsed in laughter on the floor, waving their arms.
