Eating Week
On Monday, I ate apple boats
and I read notes.
On Tuesday, I ate chicken nuggets
and I filled my bucket.
On Wednesday, I ate macaroni and cheese
and I ran away from bees.
On Thursday, I ate a cheese sandwich
and I dreamed about a witch.
On Friday, I ate cheese
and I bended my knees.
On Saturday, I ate vanilla yogurt
and I thought about Bert.
On Sunday, I ate applesauce
and I saw moss.
A note from

This is an entry for LJ Idol Minor (
therealljidol), and the topic this week was "I'm Hungry."
KFP wanted to write a silly poem based on the forms we found in a library book, "Start Writing Poetry: Stuff and Nonsense" by Pie Corbett. The original poem form called for writing about wearing a different color each day of the week and then rhyming it with an activity. We decided to turn it into a poem about eating different things each day. I helped him a little by sometimes suggesting rhymes, although the only rhyme of mine that he actually used was "moss." The others he made up himself.
