I took my car to work today, oh boy.

No, it wasn't the weather that made me drive, but having to make it to a party directly after work.

But I think I've definitely noticed is that I'm not happy about driving now.  I think I just like the down-time on the bus; being around people but not having to interact with them... just letting the old brain sort've start up.  Of course, watching folks or gawking out the window is far more interesting than having to worry 'bout all the mechanics of driving, IMO.

One thing for sure (though I hope Atara's most recent forecast isn't right!), it is taking a turn for the cool out there.  I'm going to have to break out the thermal lining for my coat when I do the bus-stop-action this week!

I think that's one thing I miss about living in residence at University, come to think of it.  My room was very much the lounge where people come in, drink coffee and just hang out or read or whatever.  Meanwhile I just did the same, or maybe made some art at the same time.  Secretly, I wonder if I needed an "audience" when I worked... or just the atmosphere of folks hanging out to make me feel comfortable.  S'weird.

I vaguely wonder if I should float the idea of getting together with some artistical folks and just doing some random sketchiness.  If I can figure out how to work a pencil again.  Hrmm.

And a working scanner might be alright, too.  I either have to get off my butt and find the proper SCSI adaptor or buy myself a new USB you-nit.
