Well, I think I've gone and done it by inflicting a sugar hang-over on myself.
Yesterday we had made arrangements to have a movie-night with my sister; she was looking for company while my brother-in-law was in Florida playing baseball.
We picked up Gondola pizza and wings and spent a night of eating and movie watching (Brave and New Exotic Marigold Hotel)... but my sister also had other plans. These plans included getting rid of as many left-over Christmas goodies as possible.
I don't normally go out and buy chocolate, but I also find myself with little will-power if it is laid out in-front of me. Needless to say, I gave the clean-up exercise my best go!
Today is the day of repentance. Shortly I plan on getting things together and starting work on the basement again. Before I get too far into it though, I think I'm going to have to do a rough-in for the upstairs portion of the (future) central-vac.
I often seem to shoot myself in the foot by getting side-tracked from one project to the other, and I can definitely see this being a bigger deal than I am initially anticipating, but I also have a feeling if I tried to complete the rough-in before I finish off the walls downstairs I could just be building myself into a corner where I don't have enough room to work. Oh, the joys of retrofitting!
But here's to trying!
renovations,
house,
movies
