This was the sign Amanda spotted as we left The Weakerthans concert this evening.  Of course, if we had seen that sign on the way in there may not've been so much confuzzlement over the sheer number of photographers and videographers that were at the concert.

I think I counted 4 photographers with professional-looking gear and then a variety of different video cameras... one that looked like it honestly should've been on a tripod instead of being shouldered by some dude.

The concert was great.  "Oh Susanna" was quite good, though perhaps a little too country for my taste.  Amanda did buy her disc, so I'll see if I can be swayed.  "The Constantines" were very loud, but that may be because I am getting very old... so I'll have to listen to their recorded stuff a bit more before I can come to a proper conclusion on those folks.

The Weakerthans have yet to disappointment.  I liked their last concert, and this one was even better.  It may've had something to do with the recording, but the number of songs the band played seemed much larger than last time, and they played a nice variety of music from their different albums.

One of the more unique moments of the night was when the entire band stepped away from their normal instruments and plugged in Casio keyboards to perform one of their older songs, "Anchorless".

It was all good stuff, though the Constantines did leave my ears ringing.  I'm hoping they'll be back to normal by tomorrow though.
