Voted and done. On another and perhaps more interesting note, I received an invoice for the renewal of Elsie's license. Funny, but the vet sort've implied that it was a one-time payment.
But either way, the $22.50 will not kill me. Though what I do find very interesting is that with the invoice comes a full page of coupons for pet-related things such as dog food at PetValu, a generic $5 off coupon for Petland and the like. The exciting bit is that they're actually for things I already buy, so I can probably make my $22.50 back with-out too much work at all.
That's my big gripe about a lot of programs. Sometimes if you want people to do the right thing you should give incentives.
I take my provincial sales tax as a good example of that. I collect sales tax as a component of doing business in Manitoba. If I file my tax on-time then the government lets me keep a percentage of that for myself. If I file late, I don't get anything.
Not a tough decision, really!
