I don't think book burning is a sin, at least not when its just one copy. If you were systematically emptying stores of that book to burn them *all*, that'd be a different story :p

On a different note, tho, I would like to point out that the church has changed its teachings on the priesthood, quite a few times....ordination didn't start for about 400 years, celibacy for 1000-1300 (it took a few centuries to put the idea into practice)....there's a decent bit of archaeological evidence for the possibility of there having been women priests in the first several centuries of the church. A lot of the evidence can go for either side, though, depending on which linguistics camp is doing the interpreting...from what I've seen/read, I'm inclined to believe there were once women leaders in the church. What that should mean for the church now i'm not so sure on, because the roles of priests, deacons, bishops, and laity back then were very different from what they are now.

Bah. I've tried three times deleting that last paragraph and trying to write it shorter, but it got longer everytime. I'm going to stop trying before I start adding references or something....I'm a geek :P

Also, "Father Sam" is just wierd! I dunno if I will ever be able to comfortably call him that because every time I think about it I can't help but picture him doing something ridiculous back in high school.....I think I'm just in denial that we all got so old!
