"Oh my god, I killed Harry Potter"

Nov 20, 2005 14:45

Okay so I went to Harry Potter yesterday, but I'll talk about it under the cut in case anyone hasn't seen it. I have to watch Sunset Blvd. someone remind me. Out of the four movies Tom let me borrow this week I've watched one. So I need to do it. I finally get to watch a hockey game that's turning out fun again. Dan Cloutier just got into a fist-fight which makes me laugh cause he never does that anymore. The Anaheim players just keep knocking him down and he's getting frustrated. Two seconds after his fight someone else hit him, but Mattias Ohlund went after the guy. It's ridiculous. I'm not even exaggerating, there are 5 guys in the Mighty Ducks penalty box. Upside is we're now winning 2-1 on a penalty shot that Trevor Linden took. Speak of the devil it's 2-2 :( My brother's hanging out with some Harajuku girls or however the hell you spell it. He has to work Gwen Stefani tonight. Super Kuwaiai! or however the hell you spell that too.
Oh and Viv I found you this:
SKA:
A phrase credited to Jamaican bassist
Cluet Johnson to describe the popular
1960's Jamaican musical fusion of R&B,
calypso and jazz known for a fast tempo
and strongly accented offbeat where the
guitar and rimshot on the snare drum are
played in tandem. The music has undergone
many revivals, including an ongoing one on
the West coast.

Harry Potter turned out really great. It was a good movie and it really was better than the other three. It was unintentionally funny at parts too. Really good one liners. Even the parts that were supposed to be funny turned out well. Like Viv said Cedric was a STUD and I felt bad he had to die. And then get his face touched by gross Voldemort's foot. My favourite scene it actually probably the same as Viv's the scene right when Harry comes back with Cedric's dead body and everyone is cheering cause they haven't realized that he's dead yet. They think Harry or Cedric have won but Harry's there sobbing and freaking out. It was very Moulin Rouge (haha sorry) when they were all silent and just watching Harry freak out over Cedric's body, except I sadly felt worse and it wasn't as corny in this movie. The only thing was the first 15 or 20 minutes of the movie was rushed. I'm not saying it's a bad thing. Just noticeable.
