"Seunghyun-ah, quick question," Dongwook says as he approaches Seunghyun from behind. He's glad he's in the empty hallway adjacent to the busy dining room where their current fancy YG/AVEX dinner party is being held. Couldn't imagine asking this in a crowded place.
"Hm?" Seunghyun turns, curious look on his face.
"Are you gay?" Dongwook was never really well spoken and bluntness was his strongpoint anyway. He just wishes Seunghyun's face wouldn't lose color like it does.
"I--what?" Seunghyun opens and closes his mouth like a fish out of water, struggling to find the correct words. Seunghyun was usually very well spoken however, this time, not so much.
"I don't know. Back there...," Dongwook trails off and shrugs. "You look like you enjoyed our game. A lot."
Seunghyun just stares, completely and utterly dumbfounded.
"And like, just lately you've been... and the clothes. I don't know." Dongwook's argument loses the steam it never had and suddenly this all seems like a very bad idea. They stand there in silence for what seems like a painfully long time.
"Hyung," Seunghyun finally says, "How did you know?" His voice is barely above a whisper and he looks a little ashamed.
"It's okay," Dongwook immediately reassures. He slaps Seunghyun on the shoulder like he always does and starts to walk him back into the dining room. "It will be our little secret."
