this is my first time writing bilasa okay ;__;
It’s not obvious-- just the way he likes it-- but Dongwoo is the kind of person that easily falls in love. His falls are mostly small and fleeting: when the girl who sits across every day in the subway sends him a small, polite smile, when he’s walking home late and a patrolling police officer will tell him to be safe, when his roommate’s best friend visits and laughs at all his bad jokes. He never does anything about it, of course, but he’s tempted. Dongwoo doesn’t consider himself to be a romantic, not really, but he must be some kind of masochist because the feeling he gets, like there’s a thousand tiny feathers in his stomach floating about and tickling his insides, he can’t get enough of it.
When he meets Chanshik, who his roommate, Jinyoung, had proudly introduced as “mine,” that soft, tickling feeling hits him as soon as Chanshik ducks his head in embarrassment and murmurs under his breath, “Hyung, stop.” Dongwoo can’t stay for long though, he has class in ten minutes, so he merely smiles, nods his head, and says, “Nice to meet you.”
Hope to see you soon, he won’t add even though he wants to.
Dongwoo is given one of those slow, lazy grins, like clouds reluctantly parting after a rainy day to reveal glimmering streams of sunlight.
He falls in love again.
“Oh-- Dongwoo, right?”
Dongwoo blinks at the oddly familiar boy in front of him and then: “Ah, you’re Jinyoung’s friend. Chanshik?”
Chanshik smiles, eyes bright and cheeks flushed pink, but Dongwoo only gives him a distracted nod in return. “You work here?” he asks, scanning the selection of coffee on the board behind Chanshik.
“Yeah. Started a few days ago.” Taking a deep breath, Chanshik leans forward, eyebrows raised, smiling a little wider. “Say, um, Jinyoung hyung isn’t being helpful at all, and-- uh, he said you’re really good at math?” Shifting his gaze back to Chanshik, Dongwoo nods, confused for a moment before he realizes what Chanshik is asking.
“Oh, I--” he starts and then his cellphone rings. After checking the caller ID, he steps away apologetically. “Sorry, I need to take this.” At Chanshik’s nod, he answers his phone with an automatic smile. “Hey, Junghwan... Yeah, no, it’s okay, I’ll be waiting here. Don’t worry.” He laughs, hangs up, places his order, and takes a seat at one of the tables, a soft smile playing on his lips every so often whenever he glances at his phone.
He doesn’t see Chanshik’s heartbroken expression and, when Junghwan finally turns ups, doesn’t look back when he leaves.

also i just realized i missed a word in the fic ladsjflks um i hope you realized it meant to say "who sits across from him" and not just "sits across" and yeah lmao fdjshflkd /o\
